The Submission Process
Nomination for an award is not influenced by anything other than the awards process itself. An entrant can only win if they have submitted a report that fulfils all criteria for that category, have passed the review by a Panel of Experts and the inspection process, and gained the public vote. The winner would have obtained the highest combined marks from an appointed panel of judges, an independent audit or secret shop assessment and a readers’ poll which will be conducted online.
The submission, review, nomination, inspection and voting processes are independently audited throughout by Spa Audit. The winners will only be known by a representative of SpaAudit.com and SpaAsia prior to their announcement at the SpaAsia Crystal Awards 2008 Gala Dinner on October 16, 2008.
Submission Fee
For each category, the submission fee is USD150 (one hundred and fifty US dollar). This is to support the cost of administering these improved quality-driven awards through a longer and more stringent process. The Submission Fee is the same for all entrants and all categories.
Gift Vouchers
In addition, those submissions which are short-listed in the first phase of judging by the Panel of Experts will be required to submit a gift voucher to the value of USD80 to be used for the auditing process in order to secret shop the location. If short-listed for the Best Signature Experience category, the Operator is required to supply a gift voucher with a total value of the nominated treatment. For selected categories, accommodation vouchers may be requested for the audit process.
Online Submissions
To participate, please fill in a Purchase Submission Form *to pay a submission fee of USD150 for each category. Upon successful transaction, you will be assigned a user ID and password that you will use to input the Online Submission Forms for award categories that you choose to participate in. Please read and understand the Submissions Criteria for each category before filling in the online Submission Form.
Multiple Nominations
Entrants may submit applications for multiple award categories, each with a separate application form.
Closing Date
The closing date for submissions is May 30, 2008.

DISCLAIMER
1. All submissions are to be done online. If you choose to submit your reports,
photographs or any other supporting documentation in hard copy,
they will not be returned.
2. Submission Fees are non-refundable.
3. SpaAsia (Wellness Media Pte Ltd) reserves the right not to give an award in
a category if there are no suitable nominees.

Secret shopping audit reports will be available from Spa Audit to all short-listed nominees after the results have been announced.
